This work was inspired by ideas of conformity, identity, and repetition , the tension between individuality and the collective image. The repetition of the same female figure, each identical in posture and attire, evokes the modern visual culture of uniform perfection and self-replication. I was also inspired by minimalist portraiture and cinematic composition , artists such as Alex Katz and Hennie Alftan, as well as the cool detachment of fashion photography.

I want viewers to feel both fascination and unease ,drawn to the beauty and clarity of the image, yet aware of the loss of individuality within the repetition. The painting invites reflection on how we present ourselves and how society shapes perception. The mirrored figures become a metaphor for identity in the age of social media, where sameness often replaces authenticity.
