A picturesque view of a scenic mountain waterfall and river or stream in the northern highlands of Scotland. With the falls cascading down the hillside from the corrie, and summits of hills with a light dusting of early winter snow.
An atmospheric impressionist small Scottish mountain countryside landscape painting inspired by remote moors and hills of wild highlands of Scotland. In this scenic artwork I have tried to convey the moody atmospheric light of the scenery of the remote areas of the Britain, like Sutherland, Skye, Assynt, Coigach, Wester Ross with their misty changeable weather and tranquil countryside views of moorland bog, small hills and quiet streams.
Painted in a a modern contemporary impressionistic style in muted green colours and contrasting blue hills.
Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
