The complete title of this painting is the following: "Side view of the Sasso Lungo peak from the Hotel Interski’s outdoor swimming pool in Santa Cristina village during apres-ski after a beautiful but tedious full day of skiing along the broad red slopes of the Sella Ronda circle, when around four o'clock in the afternoon in full compliance with the given weather forecast the light westerly wind started blowing and the Dolomites, illuminated by the bright rays of the setting February sun, began to gradually cover with clouds…"
