Original artwork description:

This intaglio print belongs to the 'Accumulations' series.
One of my fixations during my academic period was to retrieve old engraved and discarded zinc plates from the engraving workshop.
I can call myself an accumulator, I keep almost everything and find it hard to throw something away because I think it will be useful to me sooner or later.
I am happy to have recovered and preserved these old plates, to have seen and found something beautiful in them and to have modified them to create this new work.

I find the shape of this plate, which to me recalls the outline of a mountain, particularly fascinating.
I inked and experimented with colours and as much as the matrix is the same, the prints are all unique and different.
