I recently visited the Irish speaking part of west Donegal, the Gaeltacht, in the North West of Ireland. The landscape there was stunning and the people were very friendly. I loved the deep colours of the wild Atlantic Ocean and the ever-changing light on the mountains. This is my first attempt at painting this most beautiful part of Ireland.
