This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, reading, listening to music...
This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise.
This artwork speaks to us about a mountain next to the sea, which is in the town of Valdoviño. Valdoviño is a valley surrounded by low mountains and this Mount Campelo that stands out near the beach. Mountains that seem to observe what happens in the valley and in the sea. This work presents certain analogies with Picasso's Guernica, but seen with positive eyes, with a leafy, well-kept valley, in the middle of a landscape that unites the sea with its islands and the stars.
No frame is needed, but it is recommended.
