This is a light textured original acrylic painting on canvas, called ‘Mother deer’ (80 x 60 cm).
As most of my nature inspired paintings, this piece belongs in my wild life art collection.
In the centre of this painting I placed a mother deer standing protectively over her two fawns. I created stylized woodland scene, filled with flowing geometric forms and warm earthy tones. I wanted this composition to emphasise tenderness, safety and the quiet bond between parent and young. By surrounding the painting with abstract forest shapes and clusters of golden flowers I tried to create the peaceful moment of nurturing life in nature.
