Original artwork description:

What is Deeply human, it’s a very difficult and personal question, especially in a world that is constantly in progress. When everything changes around us there is only one thing that anchors us to our human essence and that is Love. Love has an infinite forms but for me the purest and most visceral form is maternal love, an unbreakable bond that unites two people beyond everything. This painting is entitled Mother and is part of my latest unpublished project which delves into this delicate theme and for me also represents a technical turning point that combines my abstract research with a recent figurative phase.
Fluid shapes like ribbons moved by the wind create a constantly moving vortex, giving life to faces that seem to float in this embryonic universe. At first you only notice the abstract movement of the shapes but as the gaze finds its references within the canvas the faces of its inhabitants begin to emerge, mothers and their children in a dance of eternal love.
