This monochrome oil painting captures one of Istanbul’s most iconic silhouettes emerging through soft morning fog. The quiet water, drifting birds, distant domes, and rising minarets create a sense of calm, depth, and timelessness.
Living in Istanbul, I find endless inspiration in its shifting light, ancient architecture, and the way the city breathes between land and water. Every dawn here feels different — sometimes quiet and poetic, sometimes dramatic — and this artwork reflects that emotional landscape.
