The sea is never truly still. In Morning Tide, shifting turquoise waters stretch toward a distant horizon beneath a sky filled with changing light. White crests catch the movement of the waves while two small sailboats emphasize the vastness of the open sea.

Rather than depicting a dramatic storm or perfect calm, this painting captures the quiet energy of the coast—a moment when wind, water, and sky exist in constant motion. Broad, expressive brushwork and luminous layers of blue create a sense of depth and freedom, inviting the viewer to experience the rhythm of the sea.

Part of my ongoing exploration of light, atmosphere, and water, this original oil painting is created to bring a feeling of openness and natural energy into a living space.
