Morning, sun, peonies (2026) Original Pastel Drawing by Olena Hromova

A vibrant celebration of summer light, texture, and blooming elegance.
This original mixed-media painting captures a lush bouquet of peonies bathed in bright, warm sunlight. Combining the fluid transparency of watercolor with the rich, velvety texture of soft pastel, the artwork creates a vivid sense of depth and luminosity.
The composition centers around brilliant magenta, soft pink, and creamy white petals glowing against a subtle, light-filled backdrop. Intricate, dancing shadows spill across the table, adding a dynamic interplay between light and dark that brings the entire scene to life.
