Whilst walking by the river Adur in Sussex one cold misty morning, things suddenly started to change, the mist rising to reveal a fine sunny morning, the glorious Downs bathed in golden sunshine. In this painting I wanted to capture the freshness of the morning air, with the wonderful clouds reflected in the morning river.
