I adore peonies. I have a beautiful tree peony bush in my garden, and the beauty of its enormous white flowers, dappled with sunlight, couldn't go unnoticed. I painted this flower late in the morning, when the dew had already melted and the flower was bathed in the bright rays of the sun. This beautiful moment lives on on the canvas, and every time I paint it, it takes me back to that summer, filled with morning freshness, delicate fragrance, and sunbeams.
