This painting is a glowing memory of summer in the Carpathians — filled with golden light, the sweet scent of hay, and the slow, tender curl of chimney smoke. At its heart lies a quiet mountain village, where blue rooftops emerge gently from a sea of green. A soft plume of smoke rises into the sky, whispering of warmth, presence, and home. Above, luminous halos hover like drifting dreams or lingering echoes of the past.

The piece was created using a layered technique: I began with a printed version of a previous painting, then enriched it with thick impasto, applied directly with my fingers. This hands-on approach brings texture, rhythm, and emotional resonance, weaving together the visible and the invisible — a serene moment suspended between earth and memory.
