Morning Has Broken is based on some recent stunning pink skies and the large amount of blackbirds chasing each other about in the garden,reminded me of the song/hymn Morning has broken, written by Eleanor Farjeon in 1931 recorded by Cat Stevens. text on left- Morning has broken, right edge -Like the first morning, toning with colour on the painting.
Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground with a pallet knife creating texture and visual interest, ready to hang
