'Moonraker' is a continuation of Gjoen’s Bond themed artworks where ‘Goldfinger’ was originally commissioned by Ian Fleming Publications in 2018. The new artwork is a visually arresting piece that combines Gjoen’s signature style of juxtaposing fragility with strength. The artwork depicts a dramatic yet solemn scene: a gun having just been fired through a skull that bears the textured surface of the moon. Above this, a space shuttle launches into a starry expanse as if shot from the gun, symbolizing the boundless pursuit of adventure and the audacious spirit of the beloved 007 franchise.
