Moonlit is a monochromatic piece that I completed in August, 2020. As you can see, there is a lot embedded within this painting. Because of the limited color palette, and some of the imagery in the painting, it brings to mind a misty, foggy nighttime scene. Sort of a solitary experience of wandering upon a scene of such magical beauty that you feel you don't belong there. This painting is about sacred spaces in nature, and that reverence and sense that you are maybe an outsider, looking in on another world.
