Artwork description:

This print/painting is in response to a song called Moonlight Sonata about a cowboy and his harmonica, a campfire, a dog, stars, and barbed wire. Poster art from the Seventies seemed the right way to go, so I created this poster-like image.

I drew the image onto linoleum, cut out the negative imagery, printed it onto printing paper, and colored it in with watercolor and gouache. I love it!:)

Materials used:

linoleum, carving tools, printing paper and ink, watercolor and gouache
