This is a pair artwork for the painting "NIGHT FLOWER".

Before I started to create the painting, I had made a preparatory drawing.
The work is called "Moonlight". The young man who is depicted in the painting is illuminated by the moonlight and himself symbolizes the Moonlight. He aspires to his beloved - the Night Flower. He wants to touch her, to embrace her exactly as the moonlight softly envelopes beautiful flowers at night. The young man holds a sparkling star in his hand. He wants to give this star to the Night Flower and thereby earn her favor. Also, as a token of love for the Night Flower, the young man have made a tattoo of a flower on his shoulder.

This is an original artwork. This is not a print or a copy. This painting was made with brushes and a palette knife.
