When creating this painting, I wanted to portray a “silent dialogue of the soul.” The night and blue tones symbolize solitude and contemplation, while the white dove represents purity and hope. The figure’s backward gaze suggests both reflection on the past and a communion with the spirit of freedom. I hope viewers can feel a sense of transcendence, peace, and poetry.

I used layered cool tones to build the atmosphere of moonlit night. Strong contrasts of highlights and shadows make the figure and dove emerge from the interplay of light. Delicate brushwork captures the figure’s expression, while brisk strokes bring the dove’s wings to life, creating a balance between stillness and movement. Speckled light dots, like stardust, add a dreamlike quality.
