Hello - Summer is here in the UK.. but it would still be nice to go back to Tuscany xx
This work is the latest in my Tuscany series where I try to capture the serenity and colour of the hills south of Sienna in Tuscany.
I love the deep blues and greens of the landscape together with the architecture of the cypresses.

The work is a studio painting from sketches and photos from our trip to Italy a few years ago. Montalcino is a stunning 16th century castle where they grow wonderful wine - well worth a visit.

The painting is on an unframed box canvas and ready to hang.
