My monochrome paintings reflect a different side of my personality. I have always been keen on black and white photography and the idea that sometimes monochrome is better than colour.
After applying the background with a brush, the rest of the painting was achieved by dropping white and black paint sequentially in spots, then turning the whole painting vertical in each direction to let gravity do the rest.
Monochrome Abstract 8 would look really good in a variety of homes, from a modern city apartment to a period home. It invites the viewer to get up close to see all the details. It is ready to hang.
Materials used:
Acrylic paint applied with brushes, then fluid acrylic paint added in drops. Finally gravity used in each direction to achieve the desired result.
