Hello.
This is a portrait composition of Monica Jones and Philip Larkin.
The work is derived from black and white photos taken by the poet himself. I have tried to create the sepia feel of these incredible old photos that Larkin took throughout his life. I have also used coats of thin light paint to give the scene an indistinct contrast to the fine detail of the faces and beer glass.
