Artwork description:

Modulator and the Superfishuls, which has a hearing aid stripped from a phonograph, microphone, and a timeless figure. It was entirely built in 3D software; all props and figures are modeled with camera and lighting setups for rendering. I utilize Photoshop filters to add vintage effects, muted hues, and loose brush strokes to evoke the nostalgia, atmosphere, and feel of a surreal landscape, like in my most recent composition. Art collectors may notice a symbolic reference to surrealist painters such as Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte.

A modulator stands in the world of shallow people, but he perceives seahorses as a metaphor of his subconscious strength, establishing a new vision in life. Being perched on the microphone is confident; he is voicing his opinions or beliefs in the hopes of waking them up. The sea horses reside adjacent to the coast, where there are shallow people. Even if they are ignorant, they can get a new perspective. Instead of swimming upstream to the coast, they chose to swim in the shallow water. They remain along the shore while he transitions from waking up to reality in the realm of development.

This is a collection of witty, out-of-the-box thinking, and thought-provoking artwork from the Surreal series.

The available sizes are 24x24, 32x32, and 40x40. Please contact me if you are interested in a larger size, but please be aware that shipping outside of the United States and Canada is quite expensive.
