This is one picture from a series of my works in which I combine oil painting and collage. The artist contrasts the spiritual side of ICON and the material world surrounding us.
I carry out part of the colored spots with paint, and part of the “strokes” replace pictures from magazines. Here, these fragments play the role of spontaneous “smears”. It turns out, in my opinion, more interesting.
Also: a picture as a platform for advertising. Advertising does not stick out and do not scream, but organically weaves into the canvas of the picture.
