"Mistral Despair" - acrylic and charcoal on cradled birch panel, 11 x 14 x 1.5. Ready to hang (Sides are painted; no need to frame. Back has been pre-wired for hanging)
The winter wind blows cold. It’s heartless, that wind. It sends us scurrying indoors, hugging mugs of tea in blanket piles. There is a kind of despair felt when the windows rattle and the outside seems so bleak. And yet…it is this very mistral despair that brings exquisite joy when the sun returns - the memory of that wind reminding us to bask, soak, enjoy.
This piece is sold unframed but ready to hang. It will be shipped flat, carefully packaged in mostly repurposed shipping materials. Customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the recipient.
