Original artwork description
When I created this painting, I wanted to capture both the grandeur and solitude of humanity’s mission to explore unknown worlds. The spacecraft is not only a symbol of technology but also an extension of our courage and dreams. I sought to show the mystery of the vast cosmos alongside the gentleness of a blooming field, creating an atmosphere that is both romantic and philosophical.
I used striking color contrasts to emphasize the tension of time and space: the sky and planet were rendered with cool tones and thick layers to convey depth, while the flower field was painted with pointillist strokes, evoking the vitality of life under shifting light. The spacecraft was depicted more simply, using dark contours to highlight the loneliness and solemnity of exploration.
