Painted en plein air at the Mission Ranch in Carmel-by-the-Sea, which has spectacular views of Point Lobos, Carmel River Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Once one of the first dairies in California, rich history of this 1800's ranch was preserved and restored by former Carmel Mayor, Clint Eastwood. Sitting on an outside deck of the Mission Ranch Restaurant, you can watch the sheep graze in the meadow, and enjoy the views of the Pacific ocean.
Materials:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen on 1/16 MDF archival art panel, the back of the panel finished with melamine that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.
