Original artwork description:

I wanted to capture a moment of quiet contemplation: a woman leaning forward, as if peering into the boundary between dream and reality. The water is both a mirror and an abyss, reflecting not only appearance but also inner emotions and desires. The painting is infused with blue, symbolizing solitude, purity, and mystery.

In my process, I used layered brushstrokes in cool tones, applying gradients of blue to evoke the atmosphere of night. The folds of the dress and the skin are emphasized with contrasts of light and shadow, while the water is rendered with fluid strokes to convey reflections that blur between illusion and reality. The overall effect is meant to evoke a sense of serenity, depth, and dreamlike wonder.
