Limewood is medium as hardness, it is ivory colour with some small darker knots and veins. The piece was carved with rotary tool with the burr mounted then sandpaper different grits 40, 80,120,180,320. It can rest stably with the concave surface, on the transparent plexiglaas base with the rod in the center, in two opposite and different positions.
