Original artwork description:

This a portrait of trumpet jazzman, band leader and composer, Miles Davis. Leader of the Miles Davis Quintet. Miles is widely considered one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century, On December 15, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a symbolic resolution recognizing and commemorating the album Kind of Blue on its 50th anniversary, "honoring the masterpiece and reaffirming jazz as a national treasure”.
This is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Note that colors produced digitally are not ever as vivid as the original. You can expect the colors on my paintings to be somewhat more intense than shown on these online photos.

All of my artwork is done on 4 mil thick, archival grade drafting mylar.
It is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper.
Mylar is easy to mount on any type of hardboard. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell. For an additional 30% of the posted price, I will mount the painting on tempered hardboard.
