Painted on a beautiful day last winter in the Ashdown Forest, East Sussex UK, where I was captivated by the low winter sun creating paths of light between the trees. It's loosely painted using one of my favourite palettes. I have mounted it in a white painted wood frame with a shadow gap between canvas and frame to enhance the artwork.
