Midnight Raven (2026)Linocut

on a piece of beautiful handmade black paper, with 4 deckled edges, I have printed the Raven in black and the Moon in gold. Once dry I add the flowers in moonlit green tones with some in gold ink. These monoprints go through the press several times as I overlap and add the flowers until I have the result I want. Handmade paper is gorgeous, this is velvety smooth, and the deckled edges are gorgeous.
Deckled edges means the edges are slightly uneven something that is treasured about handmade papers, the print really lends itself to being floated in a frame, but you can of course also mat and frame it just like you would with other papers.

the handmade paper measures 57 cm x 80 cm ( 22" x 31" ) with uneven edges.
The printed area measures 52 x 60 cm ( 20" x 24" )
The print is signed and numbered 1/1 as it is a monoprint
