Artwork description:

to be nocturnal, is turning everything upside down for you and me, for the fox and the owl it is a state of being.

These are a linocut and collagraph combination prints, the night sky and the moon is printed from linocuts, whereas the fox and owl are collagraph prints. I first print the sky and moon and then I add the fox and the owl in another turn through my printmaking press.
Collagraph plates are very fragile, made out of matboard with pieces peeled away to give the changes in tones, it will only print a few times before being worn out, so this is a very small edition of 4 prints for the owl and 6 prints for the fox.
The prints each measures 20" x 20" (50 cm x 50 cm) in beautiful warm white printmaking paper, with the actual printed area measuring 15" x 15" (38 cm x 38 cm)
I have signed, and numbered the prints on the front, please note, you might not receive the numbers in the photo.
