Venice at night, one of my favourite places to walk around, getting lost and then suddenly finding your bearings as you wander through the city lit like a giant stage set. I think that this was in San Polo but I can't be sure as one sestiere blends into the next. I must go back soon...

Oil on mdf board, gessoed on both sides.
