Midnight Bloom is an original acrylic painting from the ongoing Sunlight Blooms series.
The work explores the tension between density and eruption. A deep green surface builds a nocturnal field of layered brushstrokes, where floral forms emerge and dissolve within the paint itself. Over this structured ground, gestural splashes of yellow, orange, white and light blue introduce rhythm, energy and interruption.
The painting balances control and spontaneity: thick, directional strokes construct the body of the composition, while dripping and splattered accents create movement across the surface.
Part of a series focused on light as a disruptive force, Midnight Bloom reflects on growth, fragmentation and visual intensity within contemporary abstract floral language.
