Original artwork description:

I was inspired to create a custom-mounted graphite drawing of Michael Corleone because of the character's intense complexity and quiet power. His transformation throughout 'The Godfather' - calm on the surface but deeply conflicted within, offered a rich subject for capturing subtle emotion through tone and contrast. I chose graphite for its ability to convey fine detail and dramatic shading, which helped me emphasize the shadows and depth in his expression. I hope viewers feel a sense of tension and introspection when they see the piece, as if they're catching a glimpse of Corleone's internal struggle.
