Inspired by the vibrant lifestyle of Miami's South Beach, which depicts the interior of a high-rise condo with a striking red room, and an exotic interior with a colorful bead curtain from the artist’s heritage, reminiscent of Matisse, adorned with a painting of dancers that overlooks the city's skyline. This work aims to create a new lexicon of contemporary social commentary by intentionally borrowing and sharing images that reflect my local art learning experiences. It seeks to challenge conventional notions of ownership as they relate to American culture.
