In “Metamorphosis of Identity”, I explore the fragile state between different forms of identity. I am not interested in the exact moment of transformation or in its final result. What interests me more is the unstable balance in between — that quiet space where something has already begun to change but has not yet taken on a new form.

The vertical divisions of the composition play an important role for me. Through overlapping color zones and transparent layers, I create visual passages and inner spaces within the painting. In this way, transformation is not illustrated directly but becomes something that can be experienced through the structure of the image.

The color palette is also intentional: warm oranges and earth tones stand next to cooler blues and grey. These contrasts create tension, but also a sense of balance between stillness and movement. In the context of my Shadow Migration series, nature appears here less as an external landscape and more as an inner space of resonance where identity slowly shifts and reshapes itself.
