Original artwork description:

Met in Brooklyn is an attempt to capture a moment that often goes unnoticed, but is familiar to anyone who has been to the city. I wanted to capture an ordinary meeting of people against the backdrop of the characteristic red brick buildings of Brooklyn - a little random, a little organized. I am always fascinated by the rhythm of city life: someone is dragging a suitcase, someone just stopped for a conversation, others are moving on.

In this work, I tried to combine detail with a lot of free space to give each character their own "breath", their own story. The white background and shadows help create a sense of clarity, silence and at the same time lively movement. I love observing people and capturing these small scenes of everyday life - they often have more sincerity than staged plots.

This work is about connection, a moment, and that common rhythm that unites strangers in a big city. For me, it is about the warmth of simple meetings and urban poetry in the everyday.
