Mercurial describes the effect the low sun has on a distant strait of water, glistening as it makes it's way to the ocean. Paul has absorbed the feel and atmospheres of many coastal stretches, sketching, painting and creating images in his mind.
Mercurial Straits is painted with a limited palette combining subtle blends and texture to create a tranquil warm atmosphere to the painting.
Tray framed in a smart white frame with stamp and signature on front and back.
