This abstract expressionist painting evokes images of a city engulfed in the flames of time. The upper part of the canvas is a blurred, smoke-like memory of the past: fragments of color, reminiscent of mosaic fragments, covered in a dark haze. The middle is a chaos of emotions, where bright spots of blue, green and purple strive to break through the thick blackness. The lower part burns red - a symbol of destruction, passion and irreversibility. It seems that this is where the fracture occurred, a catastrophe in which everything flared up - perhaps the last act of tragedy or purification. The textured strokes create an effect of depth, as if pieces of reality were torn from the canvas, leaving only emotion.
