I am constantly exploring the interactions of color, water, pigment, light, and gravity - watercolor is a journey into mindful awareness and understanding, and its marks and colors are each a snapshot of the singular moment that cannot be recreated.
The beauty of chance occurrence and intense, rugged, surprising color in watercolor as is found in nature is the subject of this ongoing series - a practice, if you will.
My observation is an invitation to your observation, my pause and care is an invitation to your pause and care. Let's take a breath and breathe together - whoever and wherever you are.
-- The total dimension of this piece is 1/2 imperial sheet of Fabriano Artistico. The colors and paper are chosen with attention to archival, lightfast, lasting properties. The piece is unframed and will ship rolled or flat in cardboard tube or box with acid free protective materials. I reuse materials whenever possible to conserve our precious resources - please message me if gift packaging or inserts are preferred.
It will need to be framed with plexiglass or glass over it in your choice of frame. It can be floated, with its border and deckled top and bottom edges, or under a passepartout with a border.
