Original artwork description
Meet Maya and her friend. Their character and worldview were formed on the endless expanses of the steppes. As the local animals dissolve among the inconspicuous grass, so people dissolve here in the endless space, where the boundaries are only imagination.
For a forest dweller, a modern city is a desert, and for a city dweller, the steppe is a place where there is simply nothing. But I think that the aborigines of the steppes know how to read in the sand, grass and air the secret symbols that tell the stories of the universe. And so, I look into Maya's eyes and try to understand what she is reading right now.
In her eyes, I see the reflection of the endless expanses of the steppe. I see the grandeur and power of nature. I see the grandeur of the human spirit, which is able to survive and thrive in such harsh conditions.
I believe that Maya and her friend are unstoppable, and they will make their dreams come true.
