Spring sees the countryside become adorned with the wonderful blossom of the Hawthorn and Cow Parsley . Here at Sompting (Sussex) the white chalk track seems to go on forever towards Cissbury Ring, complementing the scenery as it heads off in the distance on the South Downs .
