Original Watercolor on paper 12 H x 12 W inch.(30x30 cm) -Marrakesh Souk- depict one of the thousands street bazaars around the city, called in Arabic souk, in Marrakesh. The souk is a fascinating place, a chaotic and never- ending of twisting lanes and alleyways laid out in the resemblance of a labyrinth. You can pass by tall sacks filled to the brim with herbs and spices or pyramids of colored powders. I tried with this painting to render the souk atmosphere, with all the movements and energy of this marketplace with people walk slowly between the stalls, browsing. Watercolor made in studio, dated and signed on both sides 2026; on paper watercolor, Saunders Waterford 300 gm/2 rough and deckle edges.
