This painting inspired by the awe inspiring winter skies around where I live in Devon. They are always different and always take you breath away. I worked on this painting over a number of days to create layers and depth. I've used cold wax and linseed oil to create mat and glossy areas. The painting is on a block canvas 4 cm deep with dark grey painted sides. It's ready to hang or can be framed if required.
