Inspired by Mark Rothko, the artwork expresses calm and longing. The contemplative is palpable. The dawn at the lake is represented by many translucent layers and give them luminosity. The nebulous landscape triggers many fantasies in the viewer and inspired him for his personal inner journey. Acrylics, stone flour an wood stains were used for this work. Scratch marks and smooth surfaces alternate and give the picture tension and harmony.
