Original artwork description:

Story about the painting:

Mariupol was a thriving port city in Ukraine with 420 thousand inhabitants 4 years ago.
War came and the city turned into ruins. It became a symbol of destruction, a reminder of how quickly and drastically war can destroy what generations of people have built.
War and killing destroy people's lives and basic existential necessities.
This painting is a symbolic expression of this and is a reminder against war.
But not only war, but also untamed natural elements - tornadoes, floods, earthquakes - destroy our homes. It is sad, tragic...
But the strength of man is that he can build a new future even on ruins.
So the painting may remind many people of these dramatic moments in their lives, but also their unwavering efforts not to give in to momentary adversity, to get back on their feet and move forward.

In my opinion, painting is ideal for all those affected by such misfortunes, but also for those who are able to mobilize their strength even in the most critical moments of life.
It is certainly a suitable addition to the interiors of workplaces, offices of companies and institutions, but it can also make a good impression on you at home.
