This is an abstract version of the famous photograph of Marilyn standing on a sidewalk grate with the exaust blowing up her dress. It is a smaller version of another portrait of Marilyn that is posted on Artfinder. This one has heavy texture on the painted areas (impasto).
Marilyn is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. For this work, the patterened areas were digitized and laminated to the mylar surface. The remainder of the painting was done in high quality acrylic paint and india ink.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. It is mounted on tempered masonite with a 2" painted border. It is ready to hang out of the box.
This is a very large painting, check your wall space.
